Pair of Mid-Century Italian armchairs by Marco Zanuso.

Marco Zanuso was an Italian architect and designer. Born in Milan in 1916, Zanuso graduated from Politecnico di Milano in 1939 and taught architecture, design and town planning from the 1940s onwards. He opened his own design studio in Milan in 1945 and began to collaborate with various manufacturers and designers.  This pair of chairs are in near immaculate condition, terminating on ebonised and brass feet and upholstered in a grey woven fabric.
