Mid-Century Sofa Oriolo by Claudio Salocchi for Sormani Wood and Green Fabric – Italy 1960s.

Claudio Salocchi was an Italian architect and designer, born in Milan in 1934, active above all in the sixties and seventies. His career, which lasted more than fifty years, was based mostly on collaboration with companies born in that period, such as Serax. From 1967 he was a member of ADI, the Association for Industrial Design, of which he was vice president from the 80s until the beginning of the 90s. In the field of architecture he is remembered for his building redevelopment projects. He died in his hometown in 2012.
