Carlo Nason (1935 – ), Italy
Born in 1935, Carlo Nason is an Italian Glass artist famed for his use of historical techniques in producing beautiful lamps, vases and sculptures in glass. He comes from one of the most famous and oldest glass-blowing families on the island of Murano. He started blowing glass from a very young age, and spent much of the 1970’s and 1980’s creating designs for Italian manufacturer “Mazzega” He is famed for his curvaceous, concentric designs and well into his 80’s practices his art from his studio in Italy.
